In the afternoon,A lot more people came for the flag day. We decided on going to Toa Payoh first to collect some donations. When we arrived, many of the "money" collectors had already arrived and started. We were too late! Then, we headed off to Dhoby Gayt where it was a very crowded place and sure to be able to collect alot of money. Although there were also other collectors there too,we still decided to do our flag day there since it was a big place. We split into groups and went our seperate ways. Me, Nick and Leonard were in one group. At first we felt a little lost at the place, not knowing where to go or what to do first. Since it was not very familiar to us, we decided to head of to another place-Serangoon again.
We went back to the same spot for collection. However, "business" was not very good now. There were less people around now and we only managed like 10 cents per minute for the first 10 mins. Then Leonard came up with a bright idea. He told us to try going door to door where we would be able to get more money. Although it was a good plan, only 1 door opened for us where choon hwee got a donation of 2 dollars.
Since not many people opened the door for us,we went back to the same old spot again where it was tried and tested. We managed to collect quite a sum by 5 plus when we headed back to Bradell.
Phew! What a fun and meaningful day that was.

Today we had flag day. Out of all the 3G people, only Shawn,Nick and I went for the morning shift. At first we were quite lost as we were supposed to meet at the "Round Box",but had no idea where it was. We tried asking the conductors but they, too, had no idea what it was let alone where it was. We tried searching for it by going out of the MRT station, walking around and calling the other classmates. But still it was of no use. Then, our good friend Nick had a suggestion. He suggested that we go ask for directions in the community centre nearby. That proved to be of great help as while we were walking there, we met another bunch of AHS students also going for flag day. They confirmed with us that the round box was in the CC. Nice one Nick!
However there was a long queue in the CC, therefore making us wait. Surprisingly, the queue was gone within 15 mins and we started our journey soon after.
At first we went to Novena, which was our designated location. Upon arriving,we went to have our breakfast, which took around an hour, before starting on our quest. At first we were all very lost on what to do even though it may have seemed easy. I think it was because our pride was at stake if we wanted to gather any money, and that caused us to waste much precious time. None of us wanted to start first, thinking that it was very "malu".
Thinking that it was a waste of time, we decided that we should go somewhere more familiar to have our flag day.In the end, we chose Serangoon. And to our amazement,Nick volunteered to get the ball rolling by showing us the right example of collecting money.
At Serangoon, mnay people were walking either to the MRT or interchange, which was only a few metres away from each other. When we turned to Nick for his example, he said he was joking. Lol, nice one Nick. Once again, we wasted time again, this time around 30 mins. After that did we den start to hav a little bit of courage to ask a few people. Which was really ONLY a few. Me 1, Shawn 2 and Nick 0.
After collecting money for a while, we decided it was time for a break. By then, all of us had collected a few cents each, with an exception to Shawn who recieved a 2 dollar note. We slacked for along time, all of us not interested in the flag day at all. But something changed our attitude towards it.
After that incident, we started lowering our pride and went to ask from whoever walked past us, unlike before, where we chose who we wanted to collect from. At first, when the people rejected us, there was a little bit of embarrasment inside us. But after being rejected a couple more times, we started feeling less malu and actually thought it was very fun and thrilling! No matter who it was, anyone who past us were asked to donate money, although not all gave.
Time flew very fast after that and soon it was 12.30, time to head back to Bradell. We were very sad as we still wanted to do more and that our bags were still quite empty. But still we headed back.On the way back, Nick said that he wanted to attend the afternoon shift too.As i too did not have enough of the fun, also decided to join the afternoon shift. But sadly, Shawn could not join us as he had something on at home. So, after he had returned the bag,we seperated but now with a new member-Leonard aka Choon Hwee.

Yay! The holidays are coming! Im so excited, just cant wait for it to start. But there are still 2 more days to go,oh well, i must try to tolerate cause school has become more and more boring! Why?! It used to be much more fun than this, but what happened? Now im only looking forward to the 2GH class chalet and student camp in the holidays.
Okay, first lets talk about today. It was alright and we had the career fair and all. Just a little boring and messy. Everyone in sec 3 was crowding inside the indoor stadium and when it was time to check out the stalls, the court was not big enough to contain everyone, making it kind of squeezy.
After school, there was a skills test for some sports group, but not for table tennis. Hence, nick, shawn, choon Hwee and I went to play table tennis. It was kind of fun, with Nick mixing tennis and soccer with TT. Well than we went home. End of post.

Today was something like doomsday for me-because it was results day. Actually, I wasn't that frightened about it all, cause i thought the papers were relatively easy. Hence,I arrived in school filled with confidence, confident that i would do extremely well. I even came early to play table-tennis and soccer! But that all changed during the first period...
It was chinese. At the start, i thought i could surely get at least a B3 for chinese as i found the paper very simple. But when i recieved it,my jaws almost dropped-i only managed a 57.5!!! Well,of course i was very sad,i had high hopes for this test but it turned out to be a disaster.
The next period was double math where we got our A math paper. I wasn't very surprise when i just managed a pass as Mr Poh had already hinted to us how we fared.
For the 2 sciences, i also got below expectations, with both being 50plus.
Well i guess i gotta study harder for the end years. Why not now...?

Yes!! The MYEs are finally over, its time for a break... And yes, today a bunch of us,Ryan,Raymond,Ming Swee,Nick,Hua Yu,Cheong Heng,Fu Seng,Zi Jie and of course MATTHEW, went to catch a movie called "Bridge to Terebediah"(I think). Personally,i feel that it was quite nice and a bit humorous. It thought us what a little bit of a imagination could do and also about friendship.I would recommend it to those people who likes fantasies alot to watch this movie.
Well, enough of today. Tommorow, there would be a mini olympics held in the school. Me and the rest of the TT boys would be joining the soccer events, hope all of u would come and support us! Well thats the end of my post. CYA around...
